(As one's feelings are, so does one perceive the divine form.)

जन्म जन्म की पूंजी पाई | जग में सभी खुवायो ||

(I have received the wealth of many lifetimes, but lost everything in this world.)

खर्चे ना कोई चोर न लेवे, दिन दिन बढ़त सवायो

(It cannot be spent, nor stolen, yet it keeps growing every day.)

पायो जी मैंने कृष्ण रतन धन पायो

(Oh, I have found the precious gem of Krishna’s wealth!)

हृदय पुंज के दीपक में, बाती प्रेम की बन जाते हो

(In the lamp of my heart, you become the wick of love.)

मेरे रोम रोम में ओ कान्हा, तुम ऐसे अब बस जाते हो

(O Kanha, you now reside in every fiber of my being.)

जितना तुम्हरा भजन किया, उतना ही पास में पायो

(The more I sang your praises, the closer I found you.)

तुम्हरे चरणों की रज में, मोरा जग संसार समायो

(In the dust of your feet, my entire world is contained.)

भवसागर में डूबी है, जीवन की ये डगरिया

(The path of life is sinking in this ocean of existence.)

नाम तोरा रटते रटते, हो गई मैं तो जोगनिया

(Chanting your name repeatedly, I have become an ascetic.)

दरस को प्यासी ये अंखियां, बहती जैसे नदियां

(My eyes thirst for your vision, flowing like rivers.)

कान्हा कान्हा रटते रटते, मैं कान्हा की हो जाऊं

मुरली की धुन सुनते सुनते, भागी तेरे पीछे चली आऊं

(Hearing the melody of your flute, I run behind you, lost in devotion.)

रंगरसिया है सांवरा, वो छलिया है बांवरा

जब दर्शन तुम्हरा करूं, मन भाव से भर मेरा आयो
