Shyam Bihari Das is a devotional singer, composer, lyricist, and kirtan artist whose life journey reflects a powerful transformation—from the world of commercial music to the sacred sound of Krishna’s Holy Name.

Before receiving the spiritual name Shyam Bihari Das from his Gurudev in Vrindavan, he was known as Shivam Chaurasia—a name under which he built a strong foundation in the Indian music industry.

Before coming to Vrindavan, he lived in Mumbai for nearly 8–10 years, working closely with several well-known figures in the Indian Bollywood music industry. During this phase, he contributed as a playback singer, music composer, lyricist, and music producer, gaining deep experience in studio production, sound design, and professional music creation.

But amidst the lights and success of Mumbai, a shift of heart began to take shape. The inner call for a higher purpose grew stronger, drawing him toward a life of devotion. Responding to that divine inspiration, he left behind the commercial music world and moved to Vrindavan, the eternal home of Sri Krishna.

Today, he dedicates his musical abilities entirely to Krishna consciousness. His compositions carry not just skill, but sincerity — each note offered as seva. He blends his professional musical background with the purity of bhakti, creating devotional soundscapes that touch the heart and uplift the soul.
